One Day Conference Committee
Purpose Mission: The purpose of the One Day Conference Committee is to provide a full day conference program of professional development for the chapter membership. The conference includes a vendor fair. Additionally the program will be structured to enable members to earn re-certification credits. This will be accomplished within the budget parameters set by the Board of Directors.
Schedule: The Committee schedules the conference for the last week in March. The group begins planning and preparation no later than January preceding the conference.
Volunteer Opportunities: As with any conference, this event requires planning and volunteers. There are subcommittees within the committee structure which include:
- Programs
- Site Coordination
- Publications
- Marketing
- Registration
- Marketplace
- Volunteers
Within each of these subcommittees, volunteers are needed both in the conference planning, evening before and day of the event.
