#MeToo, Workplace Harassment & the HR Professional -
How HR can impact organizational culture to effect change

Wednesday, March 13, 2019

Today’s news headlines and regulations alike are heavy with the topic of Harassment. There are countless harassment and assault allegations against media and entertainment giants, and the #MeToo phenomenon has compelled women to tell their stories and report sexual harassment to their company’s Human Resources department. When coupled with the new State mandates on sexual harassment prevention policies and training, the climate can prove overwhelming for HR professionals involved in both claims and outcomes.

Rose Miller, SPHR, is President of Pinnacle Human Resources, LLC with more than 25 years of professional HR experience. This presentation is a result of her involvement and research in the past causes, current conditions and possible solutions to sexual harassment and what we, as HR professionals, can do about it. Attendees will come away from this program with a key understanding of HR’s role in harassment claims and the barriers to preventing/reporting sexual harassment. Rose will further explain how to use organizational and culture changes to mitigate future instances of abuse.
